Expectations had been sat high from the very moment she opened her eyes. Her first word, first step, all would have to be perfected to exude elegance and grace. Every member of the Hwang family would go through this same rigorous training, so that they could one day could inherit the role of Royal Advisor from their parents. The only difference in Mishil’s training compared to her ancestor: Bending.
Unlike her parents and grandparents, she never unlocked any ability to connect with the waters of their home. In its place, Mishil would dedicate her time to the study of their history, arts and traditions, making sure she could embody the bending she did not possess in other ways.Be it through her graceful dances based on bending forms, to poems and gayageum pieces inspired by trickling rivers and babbling brooks. Ever and always with the poise and elegance of a royal advisor.

No matter the situation, Mishil will always address it with decorum and calmness. Her feelings remain hidden behind a stoic mask, as hard to read as they are to rouse. Yet behind closed doors, she will freely admit to her feelings, be they the joy of dance or jealousy of others’ bending. Her honest is blunt and to the point, yet never wielded as a weapon.However, due to her sheltered upbringing, she is quick to amuse, appreciating those who live their lives with laughter and smiles above anything else.
